Muslims should be the first to insist that Jews be more devout and sincere -Rabbi Ben Abrahamson

 Muslims should be the first to insist that Jews be more devout and sincere in keeping the Torah. (For discussion).
To each among you have we prescribed a law (shariah) and an open way (minhaj). If Allah had so willed, He would have made you a single Ummah (people), but (His plan is) to test you in what He hath given you: so strive as in a race in all virtues. The goal of you all is to Allah; it is He that will show you the truth of the matters in which ye dispute; (Al Maeda 48)


We gave Musa the guidance and bequeathed the Book to the tribe of Israel, as guidance and a reminder for people of intelligence. (Ghafir, 53-54)

Tribe of Israel! remember the blessing I conferred on you. Honour My covenant and I will honour your covenant. Have dread of Me alone. (Al-Baqara, 40)

Remember when We made the covenant with you and lifted up the Mount above your heads: ‘Take hold vigorously of what We have given you and pay heed to what is in it, so that hopefully you will have taqwa (righteousness).’ (Al-Baqara, 63)

When We uprooted the mountain, lifting it above them like a canopy, and they thought it was about to fall on them: ‘Seize hold vigorously of what We have given you and remember what is in it, so that hopefully you will have taqwa.’ (Al-Araf, 171)

Remember when We made a covenant with you and lifted up the Mount above your heads:‘Take hold vigorously of what We have given you and listen.’ ... (Al-Baqara, 93)

All [permitted] food was lawful for the tribe of Israel except what Israel [Jacob] made unlawful for himself before the Torah was sent down [gid hanasheh (גיד הנשה), the sciatic nerve]. Say, ‘Bring the Torah and read it out if you are telling the truth.’ (Al Imran, 93)

Among the people of the Book there are some who have belief in Allah and in what has been sent down to you and what was sent down to them, and who are humble before Allah.They do not sell Allah’s Signs for a paltry price. Such people will have their reward with their Lord. And Allah is swift at reckoning. (Al Imran, 199)

Say: ‘Bring a Book, then, from Allah which guides better than both of them and follow it if you are telling the truth.’ (Al-Qasas, 49)

We sent down the Torah containing guidance and light, and the Prophets who had submitted themselves gave judgement by it for the Jews – as did their scholars and their rabbis – by what they had been allowed to preserve of Allah’s Book to which they were witnesses. Do not be afraid of people, be afraid of Me. And do not sell My Signs for a paltry price. Those who do not judge by what Allah has sent down, such people are kafirun. (Al-Maida, 44)

Say, ‘We have belief in Allah and what has been sent down to us and what was sent down to Ibrahim, Isma‘il and Ishaq and Ya‘qub and the Tribes, and what Musa and ‘Isa and all the Prophets were given by their Lord. We do not differentiate between any of them. We are Muslims submitted to Him.’ (Al Imran, 84)

We prescribed for them in it: a life for a life, an eye for an eye, a nose for a nose, an ear for an ear, a tooth for a tooth, and retaliation for wounds. But if anyone forgoes that as a sadaqa, it will act as expiation for him. Those who do not judge by what Allah has sent down, such people are wrongdoers. (Al-Maida, 45)

And We sent ‘Isa son of Maryam following in their footsteps, confirming the Torah that came before him. We gave him the Injil containing guidance and light, confirming the Torah that came before it, and as guidance and admonition for those who have taqwa. (Al-Maida, 46)

The metaphor of those who were charged with the Torah but then have not upheld it, is that of a donkey loaded with weighty tomes.How evil is the metaphor of those who deny Allah’s Signs!Allah does not guide wrongdoing people. (Al-Jumua, 5)

We gave Musa the Book and made it guidance for the tribe of Israel: ‘Do not take anyone besides Me as a guardian.’ (Al-Isra, 2)

But those of them who are firmly rooted in knowledge, and the muminun, have belief in what has been sent down to you and what was sent down before you: those who establish salat and pay zakat, and have belief in Allah and the Last Day – We will pay such people an immense wage. (An-Nisa’, 162)

রাষ্ট্রব্যাবস্থায় স্রষ্টার নির্দেশিত এজেন্ডা



রাষ্ট্রব্যাবস্থায় স্রষ্টার নির্দেশিত এজেন্ডাঃ-

(ক) স্রষ্টার স্মরণ ব্যাপক থেকে ব্যাপকতর করা
(খ) ইনসাফ কায়েম
(গ) সুকর্মের বিস্তার এবং দুষ্কর্ম  নিয়ন্ত্রণ

(১) বিভিন্ন পার্টি, গ্রুপ ও ব্যাক্তিত্বের আত্ম-অহংকার এবং পারস্পরিক দ্বন্দ্ব ও হিংসা-বিদ্বেষ-পরশ্রীকাতরতার দ্বারা  জনসাধারণ বিভক্ত।  এসব পার্টি-গ্রুপ কে ঐক্যবদ্ধ করার চেষ্টা সাধারণতঃ সফল হয় না।  অভিজ্ঞতা থেকে দেখা গেছে যে ১০ পার্টিকে একত্রিত করলে শেষ পর্যন্ত ১১ পার্টি সৃষ্টি হয়।  এ কারণে বিভিন্ন পার্টি, গ্রুপ ও ব্যাক্তিত্ব ঐক্যবদ্ধ করার বেকার চেষ্টার চাইতে তাদের মাঝে বিরাজমান পারষ্পরিক হিংসা-বিদ্বেষ-পরশ্রীকাতরতার যে দেয়াল আছে কমানোর এবং ক্রমশঃ অপসারণের জন্য উদ্যোগী হই – যাতে ভিন্ন ভিন্ন পার্টি গ্রুপ ব্যাক্তিত্ব পরস্পরের শুভাকাংখী হয়, পরস্পরের জন্য আন্তরীকভাবে দোয়া করে, বিপদে-আপদে পরস্পরকে সহায়তা করে, এবং রাষ্ট্র ও সমাজের কল্যানের জন্য সকলে মিলে একজন স্রষ্টাপ্রেমিক নেতার আনুগত্য করে।

(২) মুসলমানদেরকে “ধর্মীয় ভাই”  এবং অমুসলমানদেরকে “খান্দানী ভাই” অর্থাৎ একই আদি পিতা-মাতা আদম (আঃ) ও হাওয়া (আঃ) এরই বংশধর জ্ঞাতি-গোষ্ঠি বলে গন্য করতে হবে এবং তাদের সাথে সদাচরণ করতে হবে।

(৩) স্রষ্টাপ্রেমিক কোন একজনকে যেন আল্লাহপাক জাতির নেতৃতে আসীন করেন সেজন্য আল্লাহর কাছে প্রার্থনা জারী রাখি এবং সাধ্য অনুযায়ী জাতি ও রাষ্ট্রযন্ত্রকে স্রষ্টা-মুখী স্রষ্টা-প্রেমিক করার জন্য চেষ্টা করি।

(৪) প্রত্যাশিত নেতা হবেন স্রষ্টাপ্রেমিক, সদাসর্বদা স্রষ্টাকে স্মরণকারী, স্রষ্টার উপর ভরসাকারী, বিনয়ী এবং দৃঢ়চেতা, সমসাময়িক কাল ও পরিস্থিতি সম্পর্কে সজ্ঞান, দুনিয়াবী লোভ-লালসা থেকে মুক্ত, উত্তম সাথি-সংগীদের দ্বারা পরিবৃত, সৎ কর্মের প্রসারকারী ও দুষ্কর্ম প্রতিরোধকারী, ইনসাফ পরায়ণ, সম্প্রদায়-নিরপেক্ষ, ধর্ম-সম্প্রদায় নির্বিশেষে সকলের প্রতি ইনসাফকারী, ধর্ম-সম্প্রদায় নির্বিশেষে যোগ্যতা অনুসারে অনুগতদেরকে সমাজ ও রাষ্ট্রিয় কাজে নিয়োগদানকারী, অসহায় ও দুর্বলদের রক্ষাকারী, অহংকারী-উদ্ধত-জালেমদের নির্মুলকারী।

স্রষ্টার আপনজনদের উদাহরণঃ-
যে দুঃখ-কষ্ট-বিপদে স্রষ্টাকে ডাকে এবং দুঃখ-কষ্ট-বিপদ মুক্ত হলে স্রষ্টার কাছে আবেগাপ্লুত হয়ে কৃতজ্ঞতা প্রকাশ করে, সেজদা করে - সে যেকোন জাতি-ধর্ম-বর্ণ-সম্প্রদায়ের হতে পারে।

হাদীছঃ সন্তানের জন্য পিতার (বা অভিভাবকের) করনীয়


সন্তানের জন্মের ৭ম দিবসে আক্বীকা দিবে + নাম রাখিবে
সন্তানের ৬ বৎসর বয়সে আদব-কায়দা শিখাইবে
সন্তানের ৯ বৎসর বয়সে ভিন্ন বিছানায় শোয়াইবে
সন্তানের ১৩ বৎসর বয়সে নামাজ না পড়িলে শাসন করিবে
সন্তানের ১৬ বৎসর বয়সে বিবাহ করাইতে হইবে

অতঃপর পিতা (বা অভিভাবক) তাহার হাত ধরিয়া বলিবেঃ “আমি তোমাকে আদব ও এলেম শিখাইয়াছি, শাদি করাইয়াছি। এখন আমি দুনিয়াতে তোমার ফেতনা হইতে, আখেরাতে তোমার কারণে আযাব ভোগ করা হইতে আল্লাহর কাছে পানাহ চাই।

What Allah said about the ethnic followers of Prophet Musa (SAWS) is now applicable to the ethnic followers of Prophet Muhammad (SAWS)

The Holy Quran 2 : 40-66 Sura al-Baqara Verses 40 to 66

يَا بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ اذْكُرُوا نِعْمَتِيَ الَّتِي أَنْعَمْتُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَأَوْفُوا بِعَهْدِي أُوفِ بِعَهْدِكُمْ وَإِيَّايَ فَارْهَبُونِ {40

[Yusufali 2:40] O Children of Israel! call to mind the (special) favour which I bestowed upon you, and fulfil your covenant with Me as I fulfil My Covenant with you, and fear none but Me.

 وَآمِنُوا بِمَا أَنْزَلْتُ مُصَدِّقًا لِمَا مَعَكُمْ وَلَا تَكُونُوا أَوَّلَ كَافِرٍ بِهِ ۖ وَلَا تَشْتَرُوا بِآيَاتِي ثَمَنًا قَلِيلًا وَإِيَّايَ فَاتَّقُونِ {41 

[Yusufali 2:41] And believe in what I reveal, confirming the revelation which is with you, and be not the first to reject Faith therein, nor sell My Signs for a small price; and fear Me, and Me alone.

وَلَا تَلْبِسُوا الْحَقَّ بِالْبَاطِلِ وَتَكْتُمُوا الْحَقَّ وَأَنْتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ {42

[Yusufali 2:42] And cover not Truth with falsehood, nor conceal the Truth when ye know (what it is).

وَأَقِيمُوا الصَّلَاةَ وَآتُوا الزَّكَاةَ وَارْكَعُوا مَعَ الرَّاكِعِينَ {43

[Yusufali 2:43] And be steadfast in prayer; practise regular charity; and bow down your heads with those who bow down (in worship).

أَتَأْمُرُونَ النَّاسَ بِالْبِرِّ وَتَنْسَوْنَ أَنْفُسَكُمْ وَأَنْتُمْ تَتْلُونَ الْكِتَابَ ۚ أَفَلَا تَعْقِلُونَ {44

[Yusufali 2:44] Do ye enjoin right conduct on the people, and forget (To practise it) yourselves, and yet ye study the Scripture? Will ye not understand?

وَاسْتَعِينُوا بِالصَّبْرِ وَالصَّلَاةِ ۚ وَإِنَّهَا لَكَبِيرَةٌ إِلَّا عَلَى الْخَاشِعِينَ {45

[Yusufali 2:45] Nay, seek (Allah's) help with patient perseverance and prayer: It is indeed hard, except to those who are humble,-

الَّذِينَ يَظُنُّونَ أَنَّهُمْ مُلَاقُو رَبِّهِمْ وَأَنَّهُمْ إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ {46

[Yusufali 2:46] Who bear in mind the certainty that they are to meet their Lord, and that they are to return to Him.

يَا بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ اذْكُرُوا نِعْمَتِيَ الَّتِي أَنْعَمْتُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَأَنِّي فَضَّلْتُكُمْ عَلَى الْعَالَمِينَ {47

[Yusufali 2:47] Children of Israel! call to mind the favour which I bestowed upon you, and that I preferred you to all other.

وَاتَّقُوا يَوْمًا لَا تَجْزِي نَفْسٌ عَنْ نَفْسٍ شَيْئًا وَلَا يُقْبَلُ مِنْهَا شَفَاعَةٌ وَلَا يُؤْخَذُ مِنْهَا عَدْلٌ وَلَا هُمْ يُنْصَرُونَ {48

[Yusufali 2:48] Then guard yourselves against a day when one soul shall not avail another nor shall intercession be accepted for her, nor shall compensation be taken from her, nor shall anyone be helped.

 وَإِذْ نَجَّيْنَاكُمْ مِنْ آلِ فِرْعَوْنَ يَسُومُونَكُمْ سُوءَ الْعَذَابِ يُذَبِّحُونَ أَبْنَاءَكُمْ وَيَسْتَحْيُونَ نِسَاءَكُمْ ۚ وَفِي ذَٰلِكُمْ بَلَاءٌ مِنْ رَبِّكُمْ عَظِيمٌ {49

[Yusufali 2:49] And remember, We delivered you from the people of Pharaoh: They set you hard tasks and punishments, slaughtered your sons and let your women-folk live; therein was a tremendous trial from your Lord.

وَإِذْ فَرَقْنَا بِكُمُ الْبَحْرَ فَأَنْجَيْنَاكُمْ وَأَغْرَقْنَا آلَ فِرْعَوْنَ وَأَنْتُمْ تَنْظُرُونَ {50

[Yusufali 2:50] And remember We divided the sea for you and saved you and drowned Pharaoh's people within your very sight.

وَإِذْ وَاعَدْنَا مُوسَىٰ أَرْبَعِينَ لَيْلَةً ثُمَّ اتَّخَذْتُمُ الْعِجْلَ مِنْ بَعْدِهِ وَأَنْتُمْ ظَالِمُونَ {51

[Yusufali 2:51] And remember We appointed forty nights for Moses, and in his absence ye took the calf (for worship), and ye did grievous wrong.

ثُمَّ عَفَوْنَا عَنْكُمْ مِنْ بَعْدِ ذَٰلِكَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ {52

[Yusufali 2:52] Even then We did forgive you; there was a chance for you to be grateful.

وَإِذْ آتَيْنَا مُوسَى الْكِتَابَ وَالْفُرْقَانَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَهْتَدُونَ {53

[Yusufali 2:53] And remember We gave Moses the 'Kitab' (Scripture) and the 'Furqan' (Criterion between right and wrong): There was a chance for you to be guided aright.

وَإِذْ قَالَ مُوسَىٰ لِقَوْمِهِ يَا قَوْمِ إِنَّكُمْ ظَلَمْتُمْ أَنْفُسَكُمْ بِاتِّخَاذِكُمُ الْعِجْلَ فَتُوبُوا إِلَىٰ بَارِئِكُمْ فَاقْتُلُوا أَنْفُسَكُمْ ذَٰلِكُمْ خَيْرٌ لَكُمْ عِنْدَ بَارِئِكُمْ فَتَابَ عَلَيْكُمْ ۚ إِنَّهُ هُوَ التَّوَّابُ الرَّحِيمُ {54

[Yusufali 2:54] And remember Moses said to his people: "O my people! Ye have indeed wronged yourselves by your worship of the calf: So turn (in repentance) to your Maker, and slay yourselves (the wrong-doers); that will be better for you in the sight of your Maker." Then He turned towards you (in forgiveness): For He is Oft-Returning, Most Merciful.

وَإِذْ قُلْتُمْ يَا مُوسَىٰ لَنْ نُؤْمِنَ لَكَ حَتَّىٰ نَرَى اللَّهَ جَهْرَةً فَأَخَذَتْكُمُ الصَّاعِقَةُ وَأَنْتُمْ تَنْظُرُونَ {55

[Yusufali 2:55] And remember ye said: "O Moses! We shall never believe in thee until we see Allah manifestly," but ye were dazed with thunder and lighting even as ye looked on.

ثُمَّ بَعَثْنَاكُمْ مِنْ بَعْدِ مَوْتِكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ {56

[Yusufali 2:56] Then We raised you up after your death: Ye had the chance to be grateful.

وَظَلَّلْنَا عَلَيْكُمُ الْغَمَامَ وَأَنْزَلْنَا عَلَيْكُمُ الْمَنَّ وَالسَّلْوَىٰ ۖ كُلُوا مِنْ طَيِّبَاتِ مَا رَزَقْنَاكُمْ ۖ وَمَا ظَلَمُونَا وَلَٰكِنْ كَانُوا أَنْفُسَهُمْ يَظْلِمُونَ {57

[Yusufali 2:57] And We gave you the shade of clouds and sent down to you Manna and quails, saying: "Eat of the good things We have provided for you:" (But they rebelled); to us they did no harm, but they harmed their own souls.

وَإِذْ قُلْنَا ادْخُلُوا هَٰذِهِ الْقَرْيَةَ فَكُلُوا مِنْهَا حَيْثُ شِئْتُمْ رَغَدًا وَادْخُلُوا الْبَابَ سُجَّدًا وَقُولُوا حِطَّةٌ نَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ خَطَايَاكُمْ ۚ وَسَنَزِيدُ الْمُحْسِنِينَ {58

[Yusufali 2:58] And remember We said: "Enter this town, and eat of the plenty therein as ye wish; but enter the gate with humility, in posture and in words, and We shall forgive you your faults and increase (the portion of) those who do good."

فَبَدَّلَ الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا قَوْلًا غَيْرَ الَّذِي قِيلَ لَهُمْ فَأَنْزَلْنَا عَلَى الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا رِجْزًا مِنَ السَّمَاءِ بِمَا كَانُوا يَفْسُقُونَ {59

[Yusufali 2:59] But the transgressors changed the word from that which had been given them; so We sent on the transgressors a plague from heaven, for that they infringed (Our command) repeatedly.

وَإِذِ اسْتَسْقَىٰ مُوسَىٰ لِقَوْمِهِ فَقُلْنَا اضْرِبْ بِعَصَاكَ الْحَجَرَ ۖ فَانْفَجَرَتْ مِنْهُ اثْنَتَا عَشْرَةَ عَيْنًا ۖ قَدْ عَلِمَ كُلُّ أُنَاسٍ مَشْرَبَهُمْ ۖ كُلُوا وَاشْرَبُوا مِنْ رِزْقِ اللَّهِ وَلَا تَعْثَوْا فِي الْأَرْضِ مُفْسِدِينَ {60

[Yusufali 2:60] And remember Moses prayed for water for his people; We said: "Strike the rock with thy staff." Then gushed forth therefrom twelve springs. Each group knew its own place for water. So eat and drink of the sustenance provided by Allah, and do no evil nor mischief on the (face of the) earth.

وَإِذْ قُلْتُمْ يَا مُوسَىٰ لَنْ نَصْبِرَ عَلَىٰ طَعَامٍ وَاحِدٍ فَادْعُ لَنَا رَبَّكَ يُخْرِجْ لَنَا مِمَّا تُنْبِتُ الْأَرْضُ مِنْ بَقْلِهَا وَقِثَّائِهَا وَفُومِهَا وَعَدَسِهَا وَبَصَلِهَا ۖ قَالَ أَتَسْتَبْدِلُونَ الَّذِي هُوَ أَدْنَىٰ بِالَّذِي هُوَ خَيْرٌ ۚ اهْبِطُوا مِصْرًا فَإِنَّ لَكُمْ مَا سَأَلْتُمْ ۗ وَضُرِبَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ الذِّلَّةُ وَالْمَسْكَنَةُ وَبَاءُوا بِغَضَبٍ مِنَ اللَّهِ ۗ ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ كَانُوا يَكْفُرُونَ بِآيَاتِ اللَّهِ وَيَقْتُلُونَ النَّبِيِّينَ بِغَيْرِ الْحَقِّ ۗ ذَٰلِكَ بِمَا عَصَوْا وَكَانُوا يَعْتَدُونَ {61

[Yusufali 2:61] And remember ye said: "O Moses! we cannot endure one kind of food (always); so beseech thy Lord for us to produce for us of what the earth groweth, -its pot-herbs, and cucumbers, Its garlic, lentils, and onions." He said: "Will ye exchange the better for the worse? Go ye down to any town, and ye shall find what ye want!" They were covered with humiliation and misery; they drew on themselves the wrath of Allah. This because they went on rejecting the Signs of Allah and slaying His Messengers without just cause. This because they rebelled and went on transgressing.

إِنَّ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَالَّذِينَ هَادُوا وَالنَّصَارَىٰ وَالصَّابِئِينَ مَنْ آمَنَ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ وَعَمِلَ صَالِحًا فَلَهُمْ أَجْرُهُمْ عِنْدَ رَبِّهِمْ وَلَا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ {62

[Yusufali 2:62] Those who believe, and those who are the Jews, and the Christians and the Sabians,- any who believe in Allah and the Last Day, and work righteousness, shall have their reward with their Lord; on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve.

وَإِذْ أَخَذْنَا مِيثَاقَكُمْ وَرَفَعْنَا فَوْقَكُمُ الطُّورَ خُذُوا مَا آتَيْنَاكُمْ بِقُوَّةٍ وَاذْكُرُوا مَا فِيهِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَتَّقُونَ {63

[Yusufali 2:63] And remember We took your covenant and We raised above you (The towering height) of Mount (Sinai) : (Saying): "Hold firmly to what We have given you and bring (ever) to remembrance what is therein: Perchance ye may fear Allah."

ثُمَّ تَوَلَّيْتُمْ مِنْ بَعْدِ ذَٰلِكَ ۖ فَلَوْلَا فَضْلُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَتُهُ لَكُنْتُمْ مِنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ {64

[Yusufali 2:64] But ye turned back thereafter: Had it not been for the Grace and Mercy of Allah to you, ye had surely been among the lost.

وَلَقَدْ عَلِمْتُمُ الَّذِينَ اعْتَدَوْا مِنْكُمْ فِي السَّبْتِ فَقُلْنَا لَهُمْ كُونُوا قِرَدَةً خَاسِئِينَ {65

[Yusufali 2:65] And well ye knew those amongst you who transgressed in the matter of the Sabbath: We said to them: "Be ye apes, despised and rejected."

فَجَعَلْنَاهَا نَكَالًا لِمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهَا وَمَا خَلْفَهَا وَمَوْعِظَةً لِلْمُتَّقِينَ {66

[Yusufali 2:66] So We made it an example to their own time and to their posterity, and a lesson to those who fear Allah.

"আহলে জিকির"-দের অনুসরণের জন্য ক্বোরাণে আল্লাহ পাকের নির্দেশ فَاسْأَلُوا أَهْلَ الذِّكْرِ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ لَا تَعْلَمُونَ

فَاسْأَلُوا أَهْلَ الذِّكْرِ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ لَا تَعْلَمُونَ
 তোমরা যদি না জান তবে "আহলে-জিকির"-দেরকে জিজ্ঞাসা কর।

فَاسْأَلُوا أَهْلَ الذِّكْرِ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ لَا تَعْلَمُونَ
তোমরা যদি না জান তবে "আহলে-জিকির"-দেরকে জিজ্ঞাসা কর।

প্রসংগ - কিয়ামত The Hour of Doom (পবিত্র ক্বোরাণের সুরা হজ্জ থেকে)

 অনন্ত করূণাময়, পরম দয়ালু আল্লাহর নামে (আরাম্ভ করছি)

  يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ اتَّقُوا رَبَّكُمْ ۚ إِنَّ زَلْزَلَةَ السَّاعَةِ شَيْءٌ عَظِيمٌ   (১)

 হে মানুষ !  তোমাদের রবকে ভয় কর। কিয়ামতের ভুমিকম্প এক ভয়ংকর ব্যাপার।
O mankind! Fear your Lord. Lo! the earthquake of the Hour (of Doom) is a tremendous thing.

(২)
 يَوْمَ تَرَوْنَهَا تَذْهَلُ كُلُّ مُرْضِعَةٍ عَمَّا أَرْضَعَتْ وَتَضَعُ كُلُّ ذَاتِ حَمْلٍ حَمْلَهَا وَتَرَى النَّاسَ سُكَارَىٰ وَمَا هُمْ بِسُكَارَىٰ وَلَٰكِنَّ عَذَابَ اللَّهِ شَدِيدٌ

 যেদিন তোমরা তা প্রত্যক্ষ করবে সেদিন দেখতে পাবে প্রত্যেক স্তনদাত্রী তার দুগ্ধপোষ্য শিশুকে বিস্মৃত হবে এবং প্রত্যেক গর্ভবতি তার গর্ভপাত করবে। মানুষকে দেখবে মাতাল সদৃশ, যদিও তারা নেশাগ্রস্থ নয়। বস্তুত আল্লাহর শাস্তি কঠিন।
On the day when ye behold it, every nursing mother will forget her nursling and every pregnant one will be delivered of her burden, and thou (Muhammad) wilt see mankind as drunken, yet they will not be drunken, but the Doom of Allah will be strong (upon them).

وَمِنَ النَّاسِ مَنْ يُجَادِلُ فِي اللَّهِ بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍ وَيَتَّبِعُ كُلَّ شَيْطَانٍ مَرِيدٍ

মানুষের মধ্যে কিছু অজ্ঞানতাবশতঃ আল্লাহ সন্ম্বন্ধে বিতন্ডা করে এবং প্রত্যেক বিদ্রোহী শয়তানের অনুসরণ করে।
Among mankind is he who disputeth concerning Allah without knowledge, and followeth each froward devil;

গায়েবের কিছু জ্ঞান ও কিছু অলৌকীক ক্ষমতা আল্লাহ তাঁর কোন কোন সৃষ্টিকে দিয়ে থাকেন


আল-ক্বোরাণ, ২৭ নং ছুরা নমল, আয়াতঃ ৩৯-৪০

قَالَ عِفْرِيتٌ مِنَ الْجِنِّ أَنَا آتِيكَ بِهِ قَبْلَ أَنْ تَقُومَ مِنْ مَقَامِكَ ۖ وَإِنِّي عَلَيْهِ لَقَوِيٌّ أَمِي-39

قَالَ الَّذِي عِنْدَهُ عِلْمٌ مِنَ الْكِتَابِ أَنَا آتِيكَ بِهِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَرْتَدَّ إِلَيْكَ طَرْفُكَ ۚ فَلَمَّا رَآهُ مُسْتَقِرًّا عِنْدَهُ قَالَ هَٰذَا مِنْ فَضْلِ رَبِّي لِيَبْلُوَنِي أَأَشْكُرُ أَمْ أَكْفُرُ ۖ وَمَنْ شَكَرَ فَإِنَّمَا يَشْكُرُ لِنَفْسِهِ ۖ وَمَنْ كَفَرَ فَإِنَّ رَبِّي غَنِيٌّ كَرِيمٌ-40

(৩৯) এক শক্তিশালী জ্বীন বলল, 'আপনি আপনার স্থান হতে ওঠবার পূর্বেই আমি তা এনে দেব এবং  এব্যাপারে আমি অবশ্যই ক্ষমতাবান ও বিশ্বস্ত।'

(৪০) কিতাবের জ্ঞান যার ছিল সে বলল, 'আপনি চোখের পলক ফেলার পূর্বেই আমি তা এনে  দেব।' সুলাইমান যখন  তা সন্মুখে রক্ষিত দেখলেন তখন তিনি বললেন, 'এ আমার প্রতিপালকের অনুগ্রহ যাতে  তিনি আমাকে পরীক্ষা  করেতে পারেন, আমি কৃতজ্ঞ না অকৃতজ্ঞ। যে কৃতজ্ঞতা প্রকাশ করে  সে তা নিজের কল্যানের জন্য করে, এবং যে অকৃতজ্ঞ সে  জেনে রাখুক যে  আমার রব অভাবমুক্ত, মহানুভব।'

The Holy Quran, (27)Sura Namal, Verses 39-40

[ 27:39] A stalwart of the jinn said: I will bring it thee before thou canst rise from thy place. Lo! I verily am strong and trusty for such work.

[27:40] One with whom was knowledge of the Scripture said: I will bring it thee before thy gaze returneth unto thee. And when he saw it set in his presence, (Solomon) said: This is of the bounty of my Lord, that He may try me whether I give thanks or am ungrateful. Whosoever giveth thanks he only giveth thanks for (the good of) his own soul; and whosoever is ungrateful (is ungrateful only to his own soul's hurt). For lo! my Lord is Absolute in independence, Bountiful.
